Conference at the 2nd OLIVE OIL AND OLIVE FESTIVAL

The European Organisation for Strategic Planning, in the framework of the 2nd Olive Oil and Olive Festival, organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Rural Development and Food, the Ministry for the Environment, Physical Planning & Public Works (YPEXODE), the Prefecture of Piraeus, the National Inter-professional Organisation of Olive Oil and Olive (EDOEE), the Pan-Hellenic Association of Table Olive Processors, Packers & Exporters (PEMETE), the Greek Association of Industries and Processors of Olive Oil (SEVITEL), the Greek Association of Craft Industries for Packed Olive Oil (ESVITE), the Agricultural University of Athens and the Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Thessaloniki, from 9th to 11th May, at the Peace and Friendship Stadium, a conference with subject the Olive and the Olive Oil. At the Conference, there were analytical discussions about issues regarding the cultivation of olive, the production and also the packing of olive oil, as well as the promotion of this significant Greek product in the competitive European and World market.
