Delegation of Municipal Basketball Teams to the ADRIATICA CUP 2004 in Pesaro, Italy

The European Organisation for Strategic Planning in the context of its cultural activities and in collaboration with the Local Self-government and the Organisation for Hosting International Basketball Tournaments, ADRIATICA CUP, based in Pesaro Italy, organised a delegation of Municipal Basketball Teams for the Basketball Tournament ADRIATICA CUP 2004 that was held in Pesaro Italy from 24/4 to 2/5/2004.

The Municipal Basketball Teams of the Municipalities of Metamorfosis, Spata and Spetses participated to the delegation. Those teams were formed of children from 12 to 18 years old.

- The basketball team of the Municipality of Metamorfosis was escorted by the team's coach Mrs. Vaso Dimitriou and the Vice-Mayor of Metamorfosis Mr. Theodoros Vlamis.

- The basketball team of the Municipality of Spata was escorted by the team's coach and Town Councillor Mr. Georgakopoulos.

- The basketball team of the Municipality of Spetses was escorted by the team's coach and the responsible of the Municipal Enterprise of Spetses Ms. Argyro Orlof.

The teams participated during the whole Tournament and attained the following positions:

- The basketball team of the Municipality of Spata in its club...

- The basketball team of the Municipality of Metamorfosis in its club ...

- The basketball team of the Municipality of Spetses in its club came 15th.

The experiences of the teams' players were important and the knowledge gained was adequate for their course in the area. Additionally, during the Tournament, an agreement was signed between ADRIATICA CUP and EOSP for a joined organisation of an International Basketball Tournament in Greece, in a municipality that will be chosen and suggested by EOSP.
